About PKF

PKF Music is a music library by composer Michael Croswell.

PKF Music has been licensing incidental music with CBS Television for episodes of 48 Hours and 48 Hours/Mystery since 2002. Our music was prominently featured on an episode titled “hostage” by 48 Hours/ Mystery that received a 2005 news broadcast Emmy.

Since 1990 PKF Music has composed, recorded, and performed music for many of the best theater companies and schools in the upper midwest region including; The Nebraska Shakespeare Festival, Frank Theater, Ten Thousand Things Theater Company, Stages Theater, Macalester College, Gustavus College, Minnesota State Mankato, The University of Minnesota, and The Madison Repertory Theater.

Achievements
2003 McKnight Composer fellowship.
2005 Jerome Composer Commissioning Project Grant.
2007 Commissioned by Arena Dances to compose for NYC based string quartet “Ethel”.
2007 Commissioned by MN based new music ensemble “Zeitgeist” for Saint Paul School district.
